Be aware - Community Pharmacy Telephone Scam

We are urging all patients to be aware of a Community Pharmacy telephone scam. 

The Counter Fraud Services have been made aware of fraudsters calling patients to arrange delivery of medication.

They will be impersonating someone from a community pharmacy and will call patients directly to request personal information such as your name, DOB, address and banking details. 

Please do not provide them with this information, hang up, and if it feels relevant check with your pharmacy or pharmacy delivery service directly to ask whether they have tried to contact you.
