Children’s Mental Health Week 2025 – “know yourself, grow yourself”
This year Children's Mental Health Week takes place from 3 February - 9 February.
Every year, for the past 11 years, the week is organised and run by the children's mental health charity Place2Be.
It is about helping young people to speak up and feel empowered to talk about mental health.
Each year the week has a theme, and this year’s is 'Know yourself, Grow yourself' and is focused on building self-awareness.
The charity has linked up with Here4You to explore the importance of self-awareness and expressing emotions. Here4You is supported by The Walt Disney Company, and through the characters of Pixar’s Inside Out and Inside Out 2, the resources encourage children and young people across the UK to discover how getting to know who they are can help them to build resilience, grow and develop.
By understanding who we are, we can find out what makes us feel happy, sad, anxious, or scared - or maybe all of them at once!
