Urgent Primary Care Service - Maidenhead
Residents of Maidenhead, that are registered with a Maidenhead GP practice, requiring same day urgent care for both minor illness and minor injuries can be seen locally in Maidenhead at St Mark’s Hospital.
People with minor illnesses such as chest infections, skin infections, or urinary tract infections, or injuries, such as cuts and grazes, minor burns or minor head injuries, will be booked into the Urgent Primary Care Service by their GP practice if they need same day care.
The same day minor illness appointments at St Mark’s Hospital are available at the following times:
- Monday to Friday: 8am – 8pm
- Saturday: 9am – 5pm
- Sunday: 9am – 1pm
Bookable minor injury same day appointments are available at St Mark's hospital for treating:
- cuts, bruises, grazes
- minor burns
- minor head injuries
- injuries to hands, wrists, elbows, feet, ankles and lower legs
- soft tissue injuries and sports injuries
- dislocated fingers and toes
Minor injury appointments can be booked via your GP Practice, and are available Monday to Friday from 8am – 5pm.

This is a pilot service that responds to people’s needs and we hope those people who do need to be seen by the service will appreciate the benefit that it brings.
