Prescription Costs

If you're juggling the daily costs of living, paying for your prescription can sometimes feel like a low priority. However there are ways you can reduce the cost of staying up to date with your medications.

  • Although NHS treatment is free, there can often be charges for things like prescriptions. You could be entitled to help with these costs depending on your circumstances.

• Prescription Prepayment Certificate
  
  • The current prescription charge is £9.65 per item, so if you aren't eligible for free prescriptions, consider a prepayment certificate which could save you up to £350 a year.
