Frimley Healthier Together App

Frimley Healthier Together App

Parents and carers of children and young people can now help themselves deal with common childhood conditions by downloading the Frimley Healthier Together app.

The easy-to-use self-triage tool gives health advice for their children via a system of Red, Amber, and Green signs which directs them to the right place for the care of the child.

Providing parents with clear, reliable advice from the NHS, the app is designed to be a handy guide, accessible at home or on the go.

If the app suggests the child does not need professional medical care, it may still suggest self-care for minor ailments (Green), that can be provided at home or via the pharmacy.

For children rated as Amber, the app will direct to primary care services, or NHS111 if outside normal GP practice opening hours.

In cases where urgent or emergency treatment could be required (Red), the app will signpost the parent or carer to Accident and Emergency Department closets to their current location.

New for Winter 2023/24, the app now also provides advice on adult respiratory symptoms, such as cough, flu and Covid-19, and what to do if these symptoms are making you feel unwell.

Below is a toolkit to enable you to promote the app for use alongside the Frimley Healthier Together website.
